Homeopathy in Ipswich, Felixstowe and surrounding areas of Suffolk
Nursing
I am a retired registered nurse (RGN) with 40 years of experience. I have been retired since September 2020 and prior to that, had been working in a busy Ipswich hospital, where my skills and knowledge were constantly being updated and put into practice!
Homeopathy
I qualified as a Homeopath in 2001 following 4 years of intensive study at the College of Homeopathy in London. Training included anatomy, physiology and disease processes as well as Homeopathic remedies and philosophy. I am fully registered and insured with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH).
Practice
Initially I ran a clinic at a GP's practice in Cambridge but I now practice Homeopathy and the Bach Flowers in Suffolk including Ipswich, Woodbridge, surrounding areas and my home in Felixstowe. I am very happy to visit people in the comfort of their own homes according to individual circumstances and convenience.

Bach Flowers
In 2009 following 18 months of training I completed the Bach Foundation course and am now a fully qualified Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner. (BFRP) and on the International Bach Flower Register. I usually prescribe the Bach Flower remedies alongside Homeopathy as an additional emotional support but I am also able to prescribe them separately if requested.

Continuing Professional Development
In June 2008 I attended a post graduate course on the Greek Island of Alonissos with the world renowned Greek Homeopath Professor George Vithoulkas, whose experience and knowledge spans over 40 years. I have recently studied his three year video teaching course in London in order to gain at "first hand" from his expert tuition and wisdom. I completed the course in April 2011 and obtained a Diploma in Homeopathy.I have also undertaken an intensive 5 day course taught by Dr Subrata Banerjea, a distinguished and widely respected Homeopath with an international reputation of 25+ years and clinics, not only in the UK, but also in India.
It is a requirement of professional Homeopaths to keep up to date so, in addition to attending the above courses, I regularly attend Homeopathic seminars and Bach Flower meetings.

Discovering Homeopathy and the Bach Flowers
I first discovered Homeopathy when seeking treatment for depression and wanting to avoid anti-depressant therapy. My brother (then a Homeopath himself) persuaded me to "give it a try". The results were so powerful that I have never looked back. Several years later I visited a Homeopath who also practised with Bach Flower Remedies. I was totally converted to them and amazed at the difference they made. I now combine both treatments and have had some excellent results. My experience as a nurse means that I am very comfortable to use both therapies alongside conventional medicine. Patients are never encouraged to stop their existing medications unless it is their specific request and then only after consultation with their Doctor.
